libxcomp3 software package provides NX X compression library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libxcomp3
libxcomp3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libxcomp3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libxcomp3 *
You will get with libxcomp3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
